Marvin Paul “Herman” Morris, Sr.

Marvin Paul Morris, Sr. (“Herman”) of Cooper, TX, passed away on May 20, 2026. Mr. Morris was a pillar of his community, known for his kindness and strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Cecil Marie Morris, and by his three sons, Tommy Morris, Marvin Morris and J.C. Morris.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 500 East Dallas Avenue, Cooper, TX 75432.
Services were delivered under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
