Gas line repairs taking place downtown
If you were wondering what has been taking place along the city’s sidewalks in Cooper, in addition to the brick project — gas lines are currently being replaced on all sides of the square.
On Tuesday, July 14, contractors began working on replacing the gas lines on the southside square. One of the workers reported the project would be completed in two weeks.
As of Thursday, July 16, you may have noticed they moved to the westside square — a good sign, as the workers are moving quickly on the project and should be finished within the two-week time frame.
