“Strings and Stories” of Mount Vernon perform at public library

There were over 50 seen in attendance at the Delta County Public Library last week, as kids and adults alike enjoyed the symphonic sounds of “Strings and Stories” of Mount Vernon.

Everyone enjoyed the stories “The 3 Pigs” and “Ferdinand the Bull,” accompanied by the sounds of the Mount Vernon musical group.

According to staff at the library, “If you ever have the opportunity to see this group, you must! They’re enchanting and so talented!”

The Frankie McKinney Arts and Cultural Foundation sponsored the event.

“Many thanks to Jake and Denice Vaughn for the sno-cones too,” stated the library staff on their Facebook page, “Delta County Library in Cooper, Texas.”
